The Brigantii Moot first met on Saturday 10th September 2005 and met for the final time on Saturday 15th October 2008 and a month later I am finally putting some few thought to paper. It took writing this acrostic poem to start the flow, I’ve written nothing in my private journal since the Moot finished! I chose to use the writing of an acrostic poem to try and get my thoughts going because I wrote one when the Moot was one year old.
One of the life-time friends I have made through Brigantii Moot is Andy of Spicy Cauldron, he wrote his Thoughts on the ending of the moot last month.
I wrote the Brigantii Moot part first, then Remembering.
REMEMBERING BRIGANTII MOOT

Raucous laughter, full of fun and healing
Early finishes,
Morning not evening!
Elements of life, paths similar and strange
Minds ever open
But never blindly accepting!
Explanations, discussions,
Revelations and balderdash
Intrigue suspected, never existed
No hierarchy but a family
Growing together … then apart.

Being together, every month
Reviewing where we’ve been and things we’ve done
Intimates or strangers, we
Gathered together
Always ready to listen and learn.
Never dull, never boring the
Talks covered many subjects
Interests shared and
Introductions to topics new

Moot after moot we met and we laughed
Over here, over there, nowhere perfect
Over it is, so hard to believe yet for
Three years we did gather through sun, rain, hail and snow.
