These words were the refrain in a song that was playing on the radio at 20:07 this evening as I was finally driving home … so I listened to them and didn’t turn into the shops.  Well let’s be honest it wasn’t the hairdressers or post office I was interested in, especially as they were closed … no it was the chippy!!!

I lost, sorry THREW AWAY one pound this week.  This is a lessening in the total weight and therefore it IS a positive.  However I am still struggling to see it that way

Sock Success!!!

Yeah I know it probably sounds naff but SOCKS made me very very happy today … not the socks themselves but the fact I put them on while STANDING UP!!!

I honestly cannot remember when I last did that, for years I’ve had to perch on the edge of the sofa or, more often the last couple of years, sit on the bed and haul my leg up onto it

So Yeah me   wonder what my Weight Thrown Away total will be tomorrow

Change of Blog Name – Why?

I’m changing my blog a little, planning to blog more and with a focus, on changing.  It was after some discussion with a couple of friends that we decided to create blogs to keep in touch more.   I live in the North West of England, Magrat lives in the North East and Debra Luckyluck lives in Thailand so though we do connect through Facebook a fair bit we thought – actually I think it was Debra’s suggestion – that blogs would be a good way to keep up to date with each other.

Magrat and I intend to use ours to record our changing shapes as we are both being very successful at losing, no not losing, throwing away lots of weight with the support and help of each other and of Slimming World.

The name change from” My Place” to “Willow’s Wheel of Change” is partially to signify the change.  I’m no longer looking back but forward.  Life is about change, I don’t want to be stuck in a rut but rolling free to live the biggest adventure ever … life itself!
