Well, not so much empty nest as empty living room!  When I left my ex and moved in here back in October 2007 I was blessed in being given a two seater sofa and armchair, amongst other furniture.  Four and a half years later both had just about had it.  My back for sure had had enough of the sofa, I had padding under the cusion and seven cushions behind me so that I didn’t end up aggravating my back!

My lounge sans sofa & chair. Until Tuesday I’ll be using my camp chair, handy that it’s got it’s own little side table

It’s been a good week I got TWO shineys this week, my FOUR stone off and Slimmer Of The Week ~ Yeah Me!!!  Whoop Whoop   I should have got two certificates but the lady doing this week’s class didn’t have those ones … the one next to the FOUR STONE OFF one is from last week!  Yep, Slimmer Of The Week for two weeks in a row ~ Go me

My personal "Wall of Success"

In fact it’s been a good couple of months … on 30/01/12 my total weight thrown away was 3st 1/2lb and this week, on 04/04/12 it was 4st 1/2lb   That is really fabulous, I am well chuffed with myself, especially considering what a pants month February was!

The force has been strong in my friend Magrat today but unfortunately, the force has been weak in this house this weekend … that’s waffling, the force has been extremely weak in ME … but I have spent several hours both yesterday and today with my parents in the house … organising & motivating me … it’s so empty it doesn’t feel like home

These words were the refrain in a song that was playing on the radio at 20:07 this evening as I was finally driving home … so I listened to them and didn’t turn into the shops.  Well let’s be honest it wasn’t the hairdressers or post office I was interested in, especially as they were closed … no it was the chippy!!!

Yeah I know it probably sounds naff but SOCKS made me very very happy today … not the socks themselves but the fact I put them on while STANDING UP!!!

I honestly cannot remember when I last did that, for years I’ve had to perch on the edge of the sofa or, more often the last couple of years, sit on the bed and haul my leg up onto it

So Yeah me   wonder what my Weight Thrown Away total will be tomorrow
