It’s been a good week I got TWO shineys this week, my FOUR stone off and Slimmer Of The Week ~ Yeah Me!!!  Whoop Whoop   I should have got two certificates but the lady doing this week’s class didn’t have those ones … the one next to the FOUR STONE OFF one is from last week!  Yep, Slimmer Of The Week for two weeks in a row ~ Go me

In fact it’s been a good couple of months … on 30/01/12 my total weight thrown away was 3st 1/2lb and this week, on 04/04/12 it was 4st 1/2lb   That is really fabulous, I am well chuffed with myself, especially considering what a pants month February was!

I just had an absolutely lovely time at my friend’s yesterday.  We gathered for a belated birthday party, there was MASSES of laughter but even more FOOD! I wish I’d thought to take a photo, it was a fabulous spread   I provided my version of the Slimming World Quiche and fruit salad, there was also some rice salad which I knew was S.W. friendly having seen it made.

The birthday boy was Andrew Hinkinson-Hodnett who recently published TWO books for the kindle!!!  One perfect for anyone who keeps chickens or is thinking of getting some – Chickens As Pets, a bargain at less than a fiver.  Chickens As Pets (website) will also be available on ipad, when the apple people stop messing him around.  The other is a book of his poems – Cannibal Delia, which is less than £2!!! I am currently reading that and thoroughly enjoying it.  Andrew has even listed the chapters of “Chickens As Pets” and all the poems in “Cannibal Delia” in a post on his blog Spicy Cauldron  … go on, check them out, you know you want to

Chillax!

Chillax is a word I learnt at the school I was at from October last year to the beginning of this month.  It basically means chill out and relax … I’ve had a nice time chillaxing today

I was asked to house-sit the painter while my dad was at work and my mam had other things on.  So from 11:50 – 18:20 I just sat reading and listening to my mp3 player … totally chilled and relaxed.

I’ve no idea why it’s taken me so long to notice … Saturday wasn’t the first time I’ve been dancing since the smoking ban came in.  However it was the first time on such a tiny floor space.  What am I talking about?  The joy of not having to worry about either someone’s cigerrette catching on your clothes nor the chance of standing on dead (or worse, just dropped!) cigarette ends!!!

Who was I dancing to?  King King featuring Alan Nimmo who’s half of The Nimmo Brothers If you can get to hear them I heartily recommend doing so!!!
